I was on my bike in the cycle lane, wondering how the Japanese pronounce “rock ’n’ roll”, so I was saying to myself over and over, out loud, “rokendorollo, rokendorollu”, and other variations. At one point I hear the sound of a manhole cover behind me, so I look back and see another bike just behind. I proceeded to burst out laughing, at the thought I’d been heard.
My brother has since then told me that, according to Wikipedia, it’s pronounced rokkunrōlu.
